Title: Phantom Power, Millersville PA, Venue Review
Introduction:
On Sunday 2/18 I got to visit Phantom Power in Millersville to catch the the Future Stars Show hosted by Elena Brokus Productions. The bands were phenomenal, including one of my favorites these days, Sick Century!
Shoutouts: Every band was great in their own way, from the mighty voices of Before The End, Lyndhurst - band and their grooving soulful sound, the highly energetic Strange Culture Pa, and the powerful sound of Sick Century that had the pit going wild. All of the bands were so nice and hung out in the crowd for the majority of the day, and Strange Culture members were having a BLAST in the crowd. Loved it! I highly encourage catching any one of these bands when you can!
The venue, located just outside Millersville University, is a small microbrewery located just off the main street. It features its own parking, which is unpaved, however mostly hard packed so my wheelchair did not have much issues with it. The entrance is a little tight given you have to immediately turn when you come through the door, however the building did have 2 other wider doors that could be easily used if asked. Inside, the merch area was wide and allowed for 2-3 different stands to be setup with more room if needed. The hallway leading to the bar/stage area is wide and allowed for easy access. There is a second floor balcony, but from what I saw there was no elevator. However I did not ask, which I should of, so if there is one that would be a great area for ADA viewing. The bathrooms were large and spacious with plenty of space to move around. As you enter the stage area, the back part of it and the bar are positioned on a long downward slope, which was a first to me. It allowed for somewhat awkward seating and drinks to slide at first, but not enough to make them fall. If you are using a wheelchair, make sure your breaks are working well otherwise you may go for a roll! I will say this, the staff of Phantom Power and the fans in the crowd did whatever they could to help make my time there a blast, which it was! They got me my own chair if I needed it and offered to put it down where its flat, carried my drinks for me, and got me up at the railing along side The Yo Show and other awesome people! Everyone was top notch and I am very thankful of it!

Conclusion:
Overall, Phantom Power is not the most accessible location. But with what they lack they make up for in their willingness to help make your time comfortable and fun! I will be back for more!
